PAYGW Account

This represents the balance of the PAYG Withholding account in the Balance Sheet as at the end of the BAS period. Ideally it should match the PAYGW BAS figure provided the PAYGW from the previous BAS period has been paid on time. If it doesn’t match, then you may need to review the account to see why it doesn’t match. It may be that the previous BAS payment has not been allocated correctly between the various parts of the BAS eg. GST, PAYGW, PAYGI, FTC.
